Ghost of Yotei Update Introduces Game Plus Mode & More – Enhancements for PS5 Exclusive

Although Sucker Punch said farewell to creative and technical directors Jason Connell and Adrian Bentley a few weeks ago, as they pursue other ventures, work continues on Ghost of Yotei, the studio’s latest PS5 exclusive. On November 24, a free update will introduce a Game Plus mode to Ghost of Yotei, including multiple difficulty levels and new achievements. Players can carry over all previously earned weapons, armor, and abilities. The update also adds Ghost Flowers, a new currency exchangeable with a vendor for over 30 cosmetics, 10 new charms, various armor sets, and weapon dyes, as well as additional customization options for Atsu. Photo Mode features are also improved, and directional buttons can now be remapped. Released on October 2, 2025, Ghost of Yotei quickly became a commercial success for the PS5, selling over 3 million copies in its first month. The sequel to Ghost of Tsushima introduces Atsu, a new protagonist set 300 years later.

Prime 1 Studio Unveils Atsu Statue for Ghost of Yotei Collector’s Edition – Pre-Orders Q1 2026 & Legends Mode Announced for 2026

The game’s success has spurred the creation of collector’s items. At the Next Level Showcase XVI: Realms Beyond Time event, Prime 1 Studio presented a 1/4 scale statue of Atsu. The presentation, beginning at 1:19 in the showcase stream, highlights the statue’s quality and interchangeable parts, including weapon-wielding hands and face accessories like a mask and straw hat. While Prime 1 Studio has not yet announced the statue’s price or release date, preorders are expected to open in the first quarter of 2026. Sucker Punch is also planning to release the Ghost of Yotei Legends mode sometime in 2026, following an announcement expected later this year. Additionally, a collector’s edition of the game is forthcoming.
