New Historical Action Game in Development by FYQD Studio – Republic of China Era

On January 3, 2026, Jani Dushman announced FYQD Studio’s new project: an untitled third-person action game set in the Republic of China era. According to FYQD Studio head Zeng Xiancheng, the game will immerse players in the tumultuous and lawless period of the Republic of China, where rival factions clash amidst widespread urban violence. FYQD Studio also shared a New Year message in 2026, revealing their work on this title. The developers are designing the game with ray tracing technology and using motion capture for character animations. Zeng Xiancheng has stated that while the game is set in a real historical period, the story, characters, and events are entirely fictional. While Bright Memory featured Shelia’s adventures in a futuristic setting, this project shifts to a historical backdrop. Bright Memory Infinite, FYQD Studio’s previous action game, is currently available for purchase. Steam users can purchase it for half price, while PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo stores offer a 30% discount.
