The manufacturer states that the main screen endured a 200,000-cycle multifold test—equivalent to folding the device approximately 100 times a day over five years—along with real-world use assessments for long-term durability.

The initial launch market for the Galaxy Z Trifold begins in South Korea on December 12, 2025, followed by releases in China, Taiwan, Singapore, UAE, and the USA in early 2026. There is no predicted release date for Latin America. The Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold enters the trifold smartphone market alongside Huawei’s Mate X and Mate Xs.
