Citing internal sources, the site claims that Joby Harold will helm the prequel, exploring the origins of Monarch through its secret projects, top-secret research, and first encounters. While the prequel’s specific storyline is unknown, it is expected to introduce new characters and historical events, maintaining consistency with the established MonsterVerse universe. Wyatt Russell is rumored to reprise his role as a younger Lee Shaw to further develop the character’s arc. Tory Tunnell and Safehouse Pictures are reportedly executive producers, with Russell also serving in that capacity. Focusing on Monarch’s secrets and their impact across three generations, the prequel is expected to feature significant Titan action in both past and present. In contrast, the original Monarch: Legacy of Monsters series revolves around two siblings who uncover their family’s connection to Monarch and encounter Army officer Lee Shaw, played by both Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell.
