New Update for Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition Addresses Bugs and DLC Issues

On November 10, 2025, the tenth anniversary of Fallout 4, Bethesda released the Anniversary Edition, which bundles all previously released DLC and updates with approximately 150 new Creation Club items and a major patch. While Bethesda did not announce Fallout 5 during their Fallout Day event in late October, the Anniversary Edition served as a significant acknowledgment of Fallout 4’s enduring popularity. However, the new patch introduced bugs that frustrated players anticipating both the anniversary content and the eventual release of Fallout 5. Online communities quickly commented on the irony of Bethesda releasing an update that created new problems. Bethesda promised immediate fixes, beginning with an initial update released on November 18th that primarily addressed glitches related to DLC and Creation Club content. Further fixes are planned for release by the end of the month. Regarding the ongoing efforts to improve the game, Bethesda stated: “We’re still collecting your feedback and the problems you’re running into. Soon, our team will focus on more fixes in our first November patch. We’ll share more details ASAP. Meanwhile, here’s what we’ve fixed:” The initial patch included the following fixes: Resolved issues activating creations that rely on DLC.

Enhanced Creation Menu Stability in Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition (PS4/Xbox One); Fix for DLC Uninstall Bug on PlayStation

Improved the stability of the Creation menu, especially on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Addressed a bug causing Fallout 4 DLC to uninstall on PlayStation. Players experiencing this issue should activate their creations once all DLC is installed. Bethesda is continuing to work on additional fixes and will release them in a subsequent patch.
