Pokémon TCG Pocket First Anniversary Gifts, Updates, and New Expansion Celebration

Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Celebrates First Anniversary with Gifts, Updates, and New Expansion DeNA and The Pokémon Company are celebrating the first anniversary of the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket by introducing a range of gifts for players, along with a new expansion, updates, and features enhancing the overall player experience. The anniversary update brings several enhancements. Players can now gift cards across rarities—from one to four diamonds—and freely trade newly released cards. The “Mystery Choices” feature offers improved clarity, displaying the number of copies a player already owns for each card. To further reward engagement, players will receive daily Mystery Ampoules, and a wider selection of daily missions has been added. The anniversary celebration also marks the release of the Mega Ascension expansion, featuring 226 cards across three new booster packs: Mega Gyarados, Mega Blaziken, and Mega Altaria. Adding to the festivities is the Reedition PROMO 2025 event. Participants can earn Event Tickets by completing missions; these tickets can then be redeemed in the Shop for promotional cards from what appears to be earlier releases—specifically, volumes 1–6 and 8–13. Additional tickets can be acquired through battles and Chansey Choices.

First Anniversary Mega Ascension Booster Packs and Special Missions for Pokémon TCG Pocket Players

Furthermore, all players will receive three Mega Ascension booster packs. Special Missions will also be available, offering the chance to unlock first-anniversary-themed customization items such as a Mega Absol coin. For a closer look, a trailer is available on YouTube.
