Honor of Kings: Ancient Collaboration with Sanxingdui – Zhang Yimou’s Reimagined Chinese History

Honor of Kings, the world’s top MOBA, commemorates its tenth year with a series of in-game events and activities. This anniversary celebrates the enduring bond between heroes and players, marking a “diligent decade” where the game’s connection to its community strengthens with every battle and victory. A significant new collaboration is launching with Sanxingdui, an ancient site in Sichuan showcasing an advanced civilization from over 4,000 years ago. Acclaimed filmmaker Zhang Yimou is art directing this project, reimagining Chinese history within Honor of Kings with his signature cinematic touch. Beginning October 17, fans can access exclusive visuals and backgrounds inspired by traditional Chinese art through a two-phase event. Sanxingdui-themed assets will be available in the game until October 29. Phase One (October 17-23): Players complete missions to earn points, unlocking Sanxingdui-themed rewards. Phase Two (October 24-29): This phase offers additional rewards, including a free visual and Duendito clothing.

Dwarf Battle Rewards and Duendito Clothing Design Contest in Honor of Kings’ Next Decade

From October 17 to November 12, players can earn Dwarf rewards by participating in the Dwarf Battle minigame. To play, invite friends to accumulate points, select gear and skills to create a unique build, and level up to unlock exclusive goodies such as new Dwarf outfits and the Ming Night Station visual. The Duendito Clothing Design Contest begins on October 16. Players are invited to design a unique look for the Duendito Cat, inspired by a “Travel” theme that encompasses interstellar adventures, oceanic voyages, or other imaginative journeys. Players can submit designs until November 2 for a chance to win prizes up to 1,500, exclusive in-game rewards, and special titles like Superstar Creator, Master Creator, and Beginner Creator. The community will vote on the best designs, and experts will evaluate them throughout November, with final winners announced on December 5. As Honor of Kings embarks on its next decade, player creativity will continue to shape its future.

Honor of Kings’ New Mid-Game Mage, Garuda Khageswara, and Tenth Anniversary Theme Song Unveiled

A new mid-game mage, Garuda Khageswara, joins Honor of Kings, drawing inspiration from ancient Indonesian legends. Focused on justice, he fights against injustices. Players can unlock Garuda for free by participating in matches between October 21 and 27. Additionally, players logging in on October 25-26 will receive further rewards. Honor of Kings is also releasing its tenth-anniversary theme song, “Atlas of Tomorrow,” composed by the renowned JJ Lin. Players can download Honor of Kings from the App Store, Google Play, or Samsung Galaxy Store.
