Arc System Works confirms its return to Brazil Game Show (BGS) 2025, bringing never-before-seen versions of two beloved 80s retro titles: Double Dragon Revive and Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons. Attendees can be among the first to experience these games at the Arc System Works booth throughout BGS 2025, running from October 9–12 in São Paulo’s Anhembi District. Visitors to the booth will have the opportunity to play both Double Dragon Revive and Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons. The booth will offer exclusive pins and host special activities. Key personnel, including Arc System Works CTO Hideyuki Anbe and Double Dragon Revive producer Hiroshi Nagaki, will also attend. Double Dragon Revive offers a modern take on the classic 1987 beat ’em up. Players will guide Billy and Jimmy Lee through post-apocalyptic city streets, leading to a surprising new ending. This title is set to launch officially on October 23. Meanwhile, Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons sends Bub on a solo adventure through a mysterious candy dungeon filled with treasures and foes. Unlike the original game, where brothers Bub and Bob teamed up to rescue their girlfriends, this version highlights Bub’s individual journey and lighthearted charm.

Arc System Works Unveils Hunter X Hunter and Guilty Gear Strive Updates at BGS 2025, Plus New Collaborations and Language Support

This includes a sneak peek at Hunter X Hunter: Nen x Impact and details on Guilty Gear Strive’s major October 9 update.
