Star Wars KOTOR Remake Concept Art Reveals Early Designs and Modular Weapons System Leaks

Speculation circulated last month regarding the ongoing development of Saber Interactive’s Space Marine 2 and Aspyr’s Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake. Embracer’s recent restructuring impacted both studios, and while details remained scarce, a glimpse of concept art for Kashyyyk, created by an Aspyr artist, previously surfaced. Recently, MP1st leaked more concept images for the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake, revealing features depicted in early designs. These visuals illustrate initial concepts for the game’s prologue, including vibroblades being handled at the start and an initial blaster pickup. The artist also discussed plans for a modular weapons system, designed to allow players to customize their gear by combining different parts. These leaked images originate from an artist who worked on the project until 2022. Consequently, these concepts could be outdated and may not reflect the current direction of development, especially since Saber Interactive took over the project from Aspyr. Despite this, the leaks provide an intriguing look at these initial ideas for the remake.
