Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Multiplayer Showcase and Beta Details Unveiled in Call of Duty: Next

Official news for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be announced during the worldwide multiplayer showcase, Call of Duty: Next, on Wednesday, September 30. Following this event, players can participate in the Black Ops 7 beta across all platforms. The Black Ops 7 multiplayer features a diverse selection of modes. Fan favorites like Team Deathmatch and Domination will return, alongside new additions such as Conflict Zone and Gunfight, available both in the beta and at launch. A new 6v6 mode, Overload, will be introduced in the beta, where teams compete to seize and hold a central device, with every capture and interception contributing significantly to the score. Kill Confirmed is another mode available during the beta. At launch, the game features 16 core 6v6 maps and two Skirmish-style Conflict Zones. Each map is designed with a blend of fast-paced action and strategic routes, supporting both close-quarters combat and long-range engagements. The beta will offer six maps, encompassing varied environments like oil platforms, robotics labs, neon-lit streets, and Arctic crash sites. Classic maps such as Express, Hijacked, and Raid will also return, updated for a 2035 setting.

For larger-scale engagements, Black Ops 7 multiplayer features two expansive 20v20 maps: High Town and Military Island. These maps incorporate vehicles and vertical elevators, utilizing wide-open spaces to intensify combat. Players can customize their loadouts from ten distinct options, covering weapons, perks, and gear. A new Overclock system boosts equipment mid-game, offering upgrades such as faster field upgrade deployment or enhanced gear capabilities. This system empowers tactical and lethal gear by increasing blast radius or stun force, thereby transforming each deployment into a strategic choice. Mid-game, players can also redirect their attack power with new field upgrade options, which include ammo resupply, drone launches, cloaking, and hologram deployment, all with Overclock abilities for enhanced effects. Beta Schedule: The Black Ops 7 multiplayer beta will run from Thursday, October 2, through Wednesday, October 8. Early Access: Players who pre-purchase the game gain 72 hours of early access, beginning Thursday, October 2, at 14:00 (Brasilia Time). Open Beta: The open beta commences Sunday, October 5, at 14:00 (Brasilia Time), offering another three days of play for all users across all platforms. The beta concludes on Wednesday, October 8, at 14:00 (Brasilia Time).

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Launches with Cross-Platform Availability on November 14
