Indie studio Bippinbits and Kepler Interactive unveiled a new trailer for their upcoming planetary defense simulation game, PVKK: Planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant, at Gamescom Germany’s Opening Night Live pre-show. The trailer reveals more details about the adventure and confirms the game’s launch in Southern Hemisphere winter 2026. As a bunker pilot, players will defend against intergalactic invaders using an interplanetary cannon. From their bunker, players can manage operations, including receiving daily updates from Earth via teleradio, undertaking Command exams, ordering supplies, and unwinding with retro-style minigames. Attendees at this year’s Gamescom can experience a demo of PVKK at the Indie Arena’s booth in Hall 10.2, from August 20-24. A highlight of the demo is an exclusive controller designed for interacting with tactile switches, adjusting mechanical counters, and tweaking the cannon’s trajectory to counter incoming forces.
