New Content Updates for Aion and Lineage II this Summer/Winter

NC America announced significant content updates for its classic MMORPGs, Aion and Lineage II, launching this summer (winter for Brazil). Lineage II’s Summer Update arrives on Tuesday, August 12, introducing two new character classes—Wolf Waker and Rose Vain—along with the guardian Glacika. Aion’s new Ascend server will merge the Korean servers Wind, Lumi, and X into a single entity, launching on Tuesday, August 19. Additionally, Aion Classic players will receive a significant 4.0 Part 2 content update. The Ascend server for Aion comes with the motto: “Fly, Explore, Conquer, Ascend.” This server introduces several quality-of-life improvements, including quadrupled leveling speed, simplified farming with doubled dungeon rewards, and enhanced gear enchantments featuring a triple Stone of Mana catch rate. These boosts increase players’ chances of acquiring important items for rapid progression. For Aion Classic players, the 4.0 Part 2 update increases the maximum level to 70 and introduces new raids, dungeons, and rewards. Lineage II’s August 12 Summer Update introduces formidable new characters. Wolf Waker possesses deadly abilities, including The Waker’s Mark, a unique skill that designates targets as prey, and Wake, which activates powerful moves for an advantage in combat. Rose Vain wields a dangerous weapon with lethal attacks such as Rose Vine, Nightmare Death Blossom, Perfume of Death, and Mass Ensnare. Players will also meet Glacika, a formidable witch guardian who controls icy storms with her staff and stains her eyes with the blood of her enemies.

Level L Gear Power-Up and Enhancements in Summer Update for Lineage II

The update also brings new gear enhancements. Level L weapons and armor are now available with a boosted acquisition rate. Activating these items supercharges the final damage of regular attacks, special abilities, and magic spells, showcasing the full power of Level L gear. Additionally, players can acquire negotiated celestial robes and a brand-new enchant scroll that significantly increases enchant success rates. The update provides upgrades for harnessing dragon weapon power, with the first five types—one-handed sword, dagger, bow, ancestral sword, and fist weapon—receiving an initial boost.
