LEGO Fan Impresses Druckmann with Custom Intergalactic Spaceship Model, Gets Duplicate in Return

Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann was impressed by a LEGO replica of the 984 Tempest NDX spaceship from the studio’s upcoming game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. The replica’s creator, Richard Van As, known as 2bricks, shared a photo of himself, Druckmann, and the model on Facebook. Druckmann also posted photos of the LEGO model on his social media over the weekend. Van As, who previously shared a video on YouTube detailing the model’s construction, revealed on social media that Druckmann was so impressed he decided to purchase one. He personally received the duplicate 984 Tempest NDX from 2bricks, which included a minifigure of protagonist Jordan A. Mun and a synthwave sword. Although not an official product, anyone can recreate the 1349-piece model. Instructions are available on Rebrickable for 10, with materials estimated to cost 124. 2bricks noted that “Porsche” was intentionally omitted from the model’s Rebrickable page to avoid potential trademark or copyright issues.

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is currently in production for PlayStation 5.
