Fahkumram Joins Tekken 8 in Season 2 for Revenge Against Mishima Zaibatsu

Bandai Namco has released official information regarding Tekken 8’s Season 2 updates, highlighted by the return of Fahkumram, the formidable Muay Thai champion who first appeared in Tekken 7. Fahkumram will be available in early access on July 7, 2025, for players who have purchased the Character Pass and Season 2 Stage Pack. The character and his associated DLC will become accessible to all players on July 10, 2025. Fahkumram, a notorious Thai Muay Thai champion, was once a national hero before falling victim to government corruption. After being falsely imprisoned, he was forced into clandestine fights to protect his family, enduring constant surveillance and manipulation. In Tekken 8, Fahkumram becomes an ultimate weapon on an irreversible path for revenge against the Mishima Zaibatsu. His addition expands the game’s roster to 38 fighters.

Tekken 8 Season 2 Unveils Fahkumram – New Player-Friendly Muay Thai Warrior with Grue Force Abilities

Characterized as a towering Muay Thai legend adorned with tattoos inspired by a Thai monkey temple, Fahkumram’s fighting style combines long-range kicks, tough armor, and straightforward moves, making him accessible to new players while offering devastating potential. His signature abilities, such as Grue Force and Ramoe Stance, are designed to keep opponents off balance, while his combos and punishers, enhanced by Grue Force Charge buffs, unleash powerful attack strings. Professional kickboxer Nattapol Yosawut performed the motion capture for the character. Bandai Namco officially revealed these Season 2 summer updates on July 6, 2025, during its Summer Showcase. Producer Michael Murray shared insights into Fahkumram’s design inspirations, with additional details provided by Bandai Namco via Alex Coolio. Beyond Fahkumram, Patch 2.04 introduces new customization options. The Seaside and Beach Fun costume packs are now available for players. Additionally, the Vacation Diva Packs will be on sale from July 8 to July 22. A new battleground, the special Pacpixels stage, has also been added to the game. Inspired by the classic Pac-Man maze, this stage features a retro 8-bit visual style. This stage, themed around Pac-Man’s 45th anniversary, is part of a winter update and infuses Tekken 8 with nostalgic charm.

Tekken 8 also features a collaboration with Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories – The Envisioned Land. This partnership provides free in-game cosmetic items, including a hair accessory, Puni customization item, avatar shirt, profile background, and a title set, all inspired by the Atelier Yumia universe. In celebration of the Tekken series’ 30th Anniversary, Bandai Namco is incorporating fan-made character panels into a fandom illustration campaign.
