Tokyo Game Show 2025: Diverse Lineup of Exhibitors Announced

The organizers of the Tokyo Game Show have confirmed the list of exhibitors for this year’s event, taking place from September 25 to 28 in Chiba, near Tokyo. The Makuhari Messe convention center will host a diverse array of companies, promising a look at major games expected to launch in the fall and winter. As of now, 772 exhibitors from 46 countries and regions have registered. Major players in the Asian video game industry will be present, including Arc System Works, Bandai Namco, Capcom, Sega, Square Enix, Kadokawa, Koei Tecmo, Konami, Level-5, Level Infinity, Netmarble, Nexon, and Pearl Abyss. Smaller companies like City Connection, Kemco, Inti Creates, Happinet, Gemdrops, Genki, and Drecom are also among the participants. Additionally, local subsidiaries of publishers such as Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, and Hooded Horse will also exhibit. Notably absent from this year’s list are SNK and Nintendo. Despite recent news surrounding the launch of the Switch 2, Nintendo will not exhibit at the convention. Similarly, Xbox will not have a booth, a consistent pattern since 2020, as the company has opted to hold small online events instead.

Looking ahead, the Tokyo Game Show 2025 promises to be one of the largest in the event’s history. According to organizers, the number of booths is projected to reach a record 4,083, a significant increase from last year’s 3,252. For the Tokyo Game Show 2025, several major companies are slated to exhibit. Sony Interactive Entertainment will return after a four-year absence, with plans to exhibit in the Main Area, as well as in sections dedicated to independent and family-friendly games. While details about the PlayStation booth are still forthcoming, Ghost of Tsushima is expected to be a central focus. Other exhibitors for Tokyo Game Show 2025 include Annapurna Interactive, Riot Games, Bandai Namco, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, and Arc System Works.
