Farming Simulator 25 Highlands Fishing Expansion Revealed – Available November 4th!

Giants Software has revealed details on the first major update for Farming Simulator 25, the Highlands Fishing expansion. This follows last month’s confirmation of the game’s arrival on Nintendo Switch 2. The Highlands Fishing expansion will officially release as a bundle or individually starting November 4th for PC and consoles. Beyond this expansion, the studio has also provided updates on Precision Farming 3.0 and other significant developments for the franchise.

The Highlands Fishing expansion introduces Kinlaig, a new map inspired by Scottish landscapes, featuring rocky valleys, authentic stone castles, and expansive open skies dotted with thick grass. Giants Software states that Kinlaig is a place where players can build farms, raise livestock, and now, fish on the water. Aquaculture is a major new feature, allowing Farming Simulator 25 players to breed and harvest fish such as salmon and trout using land-based reservoirs and seagoing boats. Developers note that fishing offers a tranquil new rhythm for gameplay. Beyond fishing, Highlands Fishing introduces onions as a new crop and Highland livestock as a new animal type. The expansion also adds over 20 new machines from manufacturers including Monosem, Canam, Agrispread, and GT Bunning. Giants Software assures that whether players are casting nets or planting onions, this extension deepens the agricultural experience in exciting new directions. Precision Farming 3.0 Update Enhances Farming Simulator 25 with New Features and Machinery

Precision Farming 3.0 is now available as a free pack for Farming Simulator 25. This update enhances farming with features such as tramlines, pulse width modulation (PWM), and automatic section control. Players will also receive subsidies for planting the catch crop oilseed radish. New machinery added to the roster includes the John Deere R975i trailed field sprayer, the HAWE body swap system, and the Wienhoff TA 25 Profi Line slurry tanker. Furthermore, existing sprayers can now be upgraded with PTx Trimble WeedSeeker 2 sensors for intelligent spot spraying of weeds. Precision Farming 3.0 maintains all core functionalities from earlier versions, which have collectively garnered over 5 million downloads.

Introducing Ford in Farming Simulator 25 with Plains & Prairies Pack!

The Plains & Prairies Pack was released on June 3rd and is part of the Year 1 Season Pass. This pack introduces three new brands: Ford, making its franchise debut, along with GEA and Trout River. It includes the Ford 976-1156 Versatile, among over twenty new vehicles and implements.

Farming Simulator: Signature Edition is slated for release this winter on Nintendo Switch 2.
