Anime Expo 2025 saw the leak of gameplay footage for Konami’s upcoming horror title, Silent Hill f. The leaked footage offers a look at Silent Hill f‘s setting: a rural Japanese town called Ebisugaoka in the 1960s. It features the character Shimizu Hinako strolling along a path towards a shrine. The accompanying music is reminiscent of the Silent Hill series, incorporating distinctly Japanese soundscapes and drawing inspiration from J.A. Seazer’s work, particularly Terayama’s Pastoral. Beyond the leaked scene, the Anime Expo 2025 presentation provided additional details about Silent Hill f. SOGxTheKing, who claimed to have recorded the footage, also shared that the presentation included the game’s director, composer, and writer. Konami has scheduled the game’s release for September 25, 2025. Four characters have been confirmed so far: Hinako, Iwai Shu, Nishida Rinko, and Igarashi Sakuko. Producer Motoi Okamoto stated that Silent Hill f will feature a distinctive combat system, emphasizing melee and action-packed encounters.
