Pokémon Summer Shorts: The First Outing with Morpeko & Chimchar’s Rookie Researcher
Check out the first summer short from The Pokémon Company on YouTube, called “The First Outing with Morpeko”. It’s 11 minutes long and follows Shota and his partner Morpeko as they head to the Pokémon Summer Festival. They’re super excited to see their hero, Bisharp, there! But trouble strikes when Shota’s favorite shirt gets ruined by a run-in with Sandygast on the way to the beach. That makes him worry about making it to the festival on time. The second short, “Chimchar and the Rookie Pokémon Researcher”, drops on July 11th. It’s a 2D animation about Ryo, a researcher who discovers rare Pokémon during his lab-outside adventures.
