Forza Motorsport Studio Loses Nearly 50% of Its Workforce

Turn 10 Studios, the creators of the Forza Motorsport series and the now immensely popular Forza Horizon games—two of Xbox’s longest-running and most beloved franchises—are significantly impacted by the ongoing job cuts at Microsoft. According to Jason Schreier, who last week reported that Turn 10 was preparing for these layoffs, nearly 50% of their staff are being laid off. He did not, however, provide an exact figure, as the precise number of staff affected by these recent cuts is not yet known. The studio’s LinkedIn profiles indicate it employs between 200 and 500 individuals. Schreier, a Bloomberg reporter, also noted that many other Xbox studios, including Call of Duty developers like Raven Software, are similarly affected by these layoffs.
