Voice Actor Hints at Imminent Announcement of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake

So, at a recent fan meetup, Matt Ryan – the voice of our favorite swashbuckler in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag – totally dropped a huge hint about a game reboot. He was signing something, and a fan asked if he’d finished the game. Ryan’s reply? “You might need to play it again.” When the fan then said, “Guess I gotta do it all over,” Ryan simply added, “Mainly that. Gotta keep this quiet, though.” With those words caught on tape, it really sounds like an Assassin’s Creed Black Flag reboot could be on its way. This lines up with what Ubisoft’s been saying, too. Their CEO, Yves Guillemot, has hinted at plans to breathe new life into some classic games from this long-running series. Plus, last year, it was confirmed that a remake of the fourth game – a true fan favorite – is actually on the table. And get this: Pure Arts, who often works with Ubisoft, also mentioned something exciting coming for Edward Kenway (that’s the main character in Black Flag, in case you forgot!). We’re really hoping for an official announcement about this reboot pretty soon!
