Little Nightmares 3: Release Date, Comic Book, Stop-Motion Project, and New Trailers – Everything from the Showcase

With over 20 million games sold since its inception, the Little Nightmares license has become highly significant to Bandai Namco Entertainment, who didn’t hesitate to propose a 10-minute showcase to present the third episode, announced two years ago. This time, it’s developed by Supermassive Games (known for the Until Dawn series), plunging players into the Spiral, a world of distorted illusions where two lost children, Low and Alone, navigate through a moving mental architecture. The new trailer, titled “You’re in for a Ride,” reveals the setting of Carnavale, a rusty, creaking carnival, saturated with visual traps and grotesque figures, as if the Joker had redecorated an abandoned Disney park.

The gameplay confirms the series’ DNA: no dialogue, much ambiguity, a play of flight and instinct, and that captivating way of narrating oppression through the environment. A second season of the “The Sounds of Nightmares” podcast is being written. A comic book series from Titan Comics, Little Nightmares: Descent to Nowhere, will release its first issue in October 2025. A young adult novel, Little Nightmares: The Lonely Ones, arrives in September 2025. Furthermore, a new VR game, Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes, is also in development.
