Hellblade 2: PS5 Version Arrives August 12th with Additional Features, Here are the Details

Ever since Xbox started publishing games as a third-party, the number of PS5 ports of their exclusive titles has been growing. We knew Hellblade 2 was heading to Sony’s rival console, but the release date wasn’t set in stone. Now we know for sure – Ninja Theory announced that the game will drop on PlayStation 5 on August 12th! But here’s where it gets interesting for PS5 owners: this Enhanced version of Senua’s Saga Hellblade II comes with some sweet extras. It’ll not only smooth out the visuals but also add a Performance mode running at 60fps, a “Dark Rot” mode, a throwback to the original game’s tough-as-nails challenge. In this mode, each failure makes the Corruption spread more, eventually leading to game over. There’s an Advanced Photo mode for crafting custom cinematic vids and 4 hours of dev commentary, giving us an in-depth look at how Ninja Theory integrated their research on mental illness into the gameplay. The game will launch in two versions: Standard ($49.99) and Deluxe ($69.99), with the latter offering the soundtrack too.
