Nacon has officially announced an agreement with Eden Games for the publication and distribution of Gear.Club Unlimited 3, the fifth installment in a franchise that originally gained popularity on mobile platforms. Scheduled for release late in 2025 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, this new entry promises to immerse players in the scenic mountain landscapes of Japan and along the coastlines of the French Riviera. This change in partnership represents a significant shift, as Nacon will take over from Microids, which had previously managed the publication of earlier titles in the series. This new collaboration underscores Nacon’s commitment to expanding its gaming ecosystem, which already includes licenses such as Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown and WRC Generations, as well as its range of Revosim peripherals designed for automotive simulation.
“We share a common passion for racing games with Eden Games,” declares Alain Falc, CEO of Nacon. This collaboration on Gear.Club Unlimited 3 allows us to combine our expertise once again to highlight the automotive passion, as stated in the press release. The game promises a rich and varied experience with several game modes: highway traffic races in Highway mode, open-world adventures, and competitions with up to ten cars on the track. For Eden Games, the Lyon-based studio known for its racing games (with a quality level comparable to a sawtooth wave), this partnership with Nacon represents an important new step, a return to direct collaboration with a new specialist publisher in racing. Gear.Club Unlimited 3 thus promises innovation and technical mastery while remaining faithful to the series’ DNA. Time will tell.
