Bandai Namco has officially announced the next DLC for Dragon Ball Z Kakarot titled “DAIMA: Adventure Through the Demon Realm – Part 1”, set to release on July 17, 2025. This DLC will adapt the first half of the anime Dragon Ball Daima, focusing on Goku and his companions’ journey through the demonic realm. A trailer has been released to accompany this announcement, featuring a young Goku alongside characters such as Glorio, Shin, and Panzy, exploring new environments and encountering new adversaries. The gameplay will introduce new techniques, including the use of Power Pole and Medi-Bug, adding an additional strategic element to combat. Additionally, a physical edition of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot will be available on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch starting July 18, 2025, priced at $49.99. The Switch version will also include the “A New Power Awakens” DLC, unlike the PS5 version.
The second part of this DLC, covering the continuation of the Dragon Ball Daima anime, is scheduled for January to March 2026.
