With just a few weeks until the release of Death Stranding 2 On the Beach, scheduled for June 26, 2025 on PS5, Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a new limited edition DualSense controller inspired by the post-apocalyptic universe of Japanese creator Hideo Kojima’s series. Kojima himself presented this special edition at a recent game event. The Death Stranding 2 Limited Edition DualSense features a pristine white casing paired with orange keys that display Drawbridge’s insignia and motto. In an official statement, Isabelle Tomatis, Global Senior Vice President of Marketing at SIE, highlights the attention to design: “We collaborated closely with Kojima Productions to create this customized controller adorned with Drawbridge’s vibrant orange insignia and motto.”
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, this special edition of the DualSense retains all the features that have made the PS5 controller renowned: haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, integrated speaker, etc. Priced at 84.99€, this controller will be available for pre-order starting May 22, 2025, at 10 am exclusively on direct.playstation.com and at selected retailers. The official release is set for June 26, 2025, the same day as Death Stranding 2 On the Beach. Those who opt for the Collector’s Edition or the Deluxe Digital Edition of the game will receive early access starting June 24.
