Have you completed Kingdom Come Deliverance 2? Did you find that the adventure lacked sufficient challenge? The developers at Warhorse Studios have addressed feedback from players seeking a more rigorous experience by releasing an update that enables Hardcore mode. Specifically, this means that on the map, the player’s position will no longer be indicated, and both the compass and fast travel features will be disabled. Additionally, to increase difficulty, players must select at least three permanent negative traits before beginning their adventure. These traits include options such as “Hip Girth,” which limits Henry’s ability to carry weight, “Sleepwalker,” causing Henry to wake up in random locations, or even “Starving Henry,” intensifying the character’s preoccupation with food.

It’s not just about making the game harder but also more immersive. In the Hardcore mode of the first game, we disabled the map position and removed the compass. This time, we’ve gone even further: we’ve added the ability to ask various NPCs for your location in the world, which is even more immersive. You can encounter travelers on the road and ask them for directions,” he adds. We look forward to seeing streams showcasing the result…
