Following the initial images released over a decade ago, Space Adventure Cobra: The Awakening has finally revealed its first gameplay trailer. Spanning 1 minute and 36 seconds, this video showcases various mini-sequences confirming that Cobra will be agile, capable of leaping up to 10 meters and firing his psychogun in all directions, reminiscent of a classic run-and-gun hero. However, he won’t be the sole playable character, as Armanoide (voiced by a female narrator) and Jane are also confirmed as playable characters, each with their own unique abilities but not an excessive number of them. According to the press release, the game will take players from planet to planet in an effort to save the Royal sisters, whose fate is intertwined with a treasure coveted by Space Pirates. The game covers the first 12 episodes (which is relatively short) and Microids promises that the adventure will remain faithful to the anime’s spirit, incorporating humor, bravery, and excitement. Three difficulty modes have been planned by “the talented Magic Pockets studio” (sic), along with a two-player cooperative mode.

Based on the first 12 episodes of the anime, the game aims to maintain its humor, bravery, and adventure essence. Developed by Magic Pockets, it features three difficulty levels and a two-player cooperative mode, guiding players across planets to rescue Royal sisters from Space Pirates seeking their treasure.
