Split Fiction Film Adaptation Under Development, Following ‘It Takes Two’

The announcement of an upcoming film adaptation for Jasef Farès and his Haelight studio’s latest game, Split Fiction, has been swift. According to Variety, multiple sources at the San Francisco Game Developers Conference have confirmed that Story Kitchen is currently in search of screenwriters, a director, and actors for this project. It is also noteworthy that It Takes Two, another previous game by Farès, who is Lebanese-Swedish, is also slated for a cinematic adaptation, although there has been no recent progress reported since its initial announcement. During a recent interview, Josef Farès was unable to offer any updates on the status of this project. Meanwhile, Split Fiction continues to perform well among gamers, with over 2 million copies sold in just one week and maintaining popularity on Steam, where it recorded more than 100,000 concurrent players last evening.
