Following Gustave last week, it’s Maëlle’s turn to take center stage in this new video dedicated to Clair Obscur Expedition 33. The game was indeed showcased at the Future Games Show and has since garnered attention from the press due to its appeal as a French J-RPG. This recognition allows the developers at Sandfall Interactive to feel more confident. Maëlle is also charming and skilled, designed as an épée specialist. Her “En garde,” even in English, highlights her French flair, particularly when seen wearing a beautiful striped shirt in the trailer. During our hands-on preview, her attacks made her one of the most engaging characters to play, and given her role as Gustave’s adoptive sister, she is set to be a prominent protagonist in this special adventure.
The release of Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is anticipated for April 24, 2025 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
