After a significant portion of the press and YouTube video creators have had the chance to play Clair Obscur Expedition 33 and experience its substantial potential and the expertise of Sandfall Interactive, it is now time for the developers to resume their promotional efforts. The focus will be on introducing the game’s various protagonists, starting with Gustave. He serves as the central character in this narrative, embarking on an epic quest aimed at stopping the Painter, who possesses the ability to erase entire generations with a single brushstroke, targeting individuals based on the number she designates, which corresponds to their age. As he sets off on this expedition of death, Gustave will be accompanied by several others, including Lune and Maelle, each bringing unique personalities, talents, and powers to the journey.
For Gustave, the developers clearly drew inspiration from Robert Pattinson’s appearance, including his curly hair and mustache. In the English version, actor Charlie Cox (known for Daredevil) provides the voice-over, while Alexandre Gillet (voiced Sonic or Henry of Skalice in Kingdom Come Deliverance) handles the French version. The release of Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is set for April 24, 2025, on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
