Lies of P: Korean Souls-like DLC will be a prequel, set in snowy landscapes

Among the notable highlights of the State of Play event on February 12, 2025, is Lies of P Overture, which is not a sequel to the 2023 game but rather a DLC that will add several dozen hours of additional gameplay. Scheduled for release in summer 2025, this expansion serves as a prequel to the original story’s narrative, aiming to explore the hidden stories of the city of Krat. The goal is to revisit the massacre that devastated the city and delve into events referenced in the original game. It should be regarded as an expanded or director’s cut version of the title. The inclusion of snowy environments contrasts interestingly with the game’s baroque and gothic aesthetic, as does seeing the protagonist equipped with a bow. This expansion is indeed full of surprises.
