STALKER 2: No PS5 Version Claims Game Director

Released a month ago in a version that wasn’t entirely flattering, STALKER 2 has already reached its break-even point. The game was highly anticipated among its community and hardcore FPS enthusiasts alike, with over a million copies sold within just two days. In an interview with Tech4Gamers, STALKER 2’s game director, Ievgen Grygorovych, stated that no PS5 version is currently in development. “We were entirely focused on developing and now supporting the PC and Xbox Series X/S versions,” asserts Ievgen Grygorovych, adding: “We do not comment on leaks, rumors, or speculation. To reiterate, we have only developed and are supporting the PC and Xbox Series X/S versions of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.” The game director did not address whispers suggesting that the exclusivity deal with Microsoft would last only three months and that the studio is preparing for the game’s arrival on Sony’s console. Only time will tell who is telling the truth.
