Despite Naughty Dog generating excitement at The Game Awards with “Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet,” the California-based studio couldn’t resist teasing one final glimpse of “The Last of Us Part II Remastered.” Set for release on January 2024 for PS5, this game will receive a PC port scheduled to launch on April 3, 2025. This PC version aims to be definitive, including the campaign, new modes (“Sans retour” roguelike mode), and a series of cut levels with developer commentary, an in-game guitar mode, and additional features. The PC version will also be optimized and enhanced to the maximum extent possible, with development handled by studios Nixxes and Iron Galaxy. A trailer showcasing these details was displayed during the Game Awards ceremony.
