Arc System Works has confirmed October 23, 2025, as the release date when players can reunite Jimmy and Billy in a fresh adventure. Along with the announcement of pre-order availability, a new trailer was released, which did not include any gameplay footage but gave us an idea of recapturing that arcade hall vibe, albeit with more modern gameplay designed for 3D presentation. Concerning the artistic direction, Double Dragon Revive has received significant criticism for its generic aesthetic and the lack of charisma in the main characters.
