Metro Awakening VR: A Launch Trailer to Give Us Goosebumps

Is VR gaining traction again in recent weeks? Not quite yet, but significant developments are anticipated by the end of 2024. Following “Batman Arkham Shadow,” it is now “Metro Awakening VR’s” turn to launch on PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest, SteamVR, and Viveport; no platform preference here. This spin-off VR version will take place shortly before the events of “Metro 2033,” revisiting the harsh atmosphere of the post-apocalyptic Russian metro along with equally terrifying and repulsive creatures. The game focuses on its immersive environment and shooting sequences, even though ammunition scarcity is expected to maintain tension throughout. Note that a mode for arachnophobes will be included in a post-launch update for those who are allergic to spiders.
