The PS5 Pro will no longer remain a speculation as of tomorrow at 17:00 French time. Sony Interactive Entertainment has scheduled a global technical presentation for the PlayStation 5. Although the term ‘PS5 Pro’ is not explicitly used, Mark Cerny, who has been the console’s architect since the PS4 era, will be presenting it, leaving little doubt about the reveal. The new version of the PS5, featuring enhanced performance and a slightly altered design, will therefore be officially introduced. Sony has confirmed that the video presentation will last for 9 minutes and commence at 17:00 French time on the PlayStation YouTube channel.
Rumors about the new PS5 Pro have been circulating in recent weeks. The Dealabs website shared a sketch of the console after spotting its packaging in a warehouse. This drawing showed that the PS5 Pro will feature the same design as the PS5 Slim but includes three bands for separation, earning it the nickname PS5 Adidas. More recently, on the occasion of PlayStation’s 30th anniversary, an illustration was unveiled depicting this machine with the three bands. In summary, details are coming together, and the PS5 Pro is expected to offer a significant power boost, particularly given the resource demands of recent games like Black Myth Wukong or Star Wars Outlaws for optimal performance and visuals. We are now just hours away from official announcements.
