Bleach Returns to Video Game Form After 13 Years Absence, Now an Arena Fighter

To widespread surprise, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the return of Bleach in video game form, which had not occurred since 2011 and the release of “Bleach: Soul Resurrección.” The new title, BLEACH Rebirth of Souls, is set to revive interest around Ichigo and other Shinigami characters ready to engage in battle. Developed by Tamsoft Corporation, this game will be an arena fighter, a genre commonly used for over two decades when adapting manga and anime into video games. Despite this established format, the game aims to offer more evolution through the unlocking of new weapons and techniques. As of now, the final roster has not been disclosed, but it is known that key characters from the franchise will be included, such as Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida, Yasutora Sado (Chad), and others.

Currently, there is no release date for BLEACH Rebirth of Souls. However, it is known that the game will be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and PS4. Additionally, a first trailer and some screenshots have already been released.
