Four years after its announcement, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown has finally set its release date, which was revealed during BigBen Week #7. This annual event by the French publisher showcases their entire lineup for the press. We attended and had the opportunity to play the game; however, we must wait until the embargo is lifted before sharing our impressions. In the meantime, the spotlight is on a new trailer that immerses viewers in the humid atmosphere of Hong Kong, where the game and races will take place, offering a setting distinct from other racing games. The trailer highlights both iconic locations within the Chinese city as well as more open areas. Developers Kylotonn have announced they recreated Hong Kong at a 1:1 scale, allowing players to drive some of the most luxurious cars in this territory.
The release of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is scheduled for September 12, 2024, with early access beginning on September 5, 2024, for those who preorder the game.
