Microids announced this morning the development of the video game “Arsène Lupin: Thief in a Day,” set for release on PC and consoles by the end of 2024. The game reimagines the adventures of the gentleman thief, delving into his origins to explore his youth and how his reputation was built through his exploits. This is evident from early artworks depicting the character as youthful and impetuous, resembling a teenager. Microids has once again partnered with Blazing Griffin studio for development, which previously worked on the Hercule Poirot series for the French publisher. At present, details about the game’s appearance are scarce, as the video release offers little insight, and available screenshots are blurry. Nonetheless, it is anticipated that the studio will continue its strengths in creating an adventure game with puzzle elements and a relatively slow pace, emphasizing thoughtful gameplay.
