On the eve of the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 tests, Sony Interactive Entertainment has released the legendary launch trailer, aiming to captivate players one last time. In under two minutes, the stakes are clearly established: the tone is darker compared to the first installment, with Peter Parker undergoing a transformation when consumed by Venom’s symbiote, changing his attitude as well. The trailer also confirms the presence of a previously unmentioned character—Sandman—who is visibly featured, indicating his significant role and that Peter Parker will need Miles Morales’ assistance to overcome him.
The release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set for October 20th next year, exclusively on PS5.
