As preparations for the COD Next event in Los Angeles commence, Activision and Sledgehammer Games have announced details regarding the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. An ultra-stylized trailer has been released to showcase what players can anticipate for the 2023 installment. Featuring Eminem’s music as background, it highlights that 16 classic maps will be available at launch, stressing team play for success, supporting various devices, including cosmetic items, and promising an engaging experience. To test these features in practice, developers have arranged a closed beta with a specific schedule: PlayStation 4 and PS5 players who pre-ordered the game can access it from October 6th. The following week, on October 12th, PC, Xbox Series, and Xbox One players will get their turn to participate in the beta test, also requiring a pre-purchase, while from October 14th to 16th, anyone is welcome to try out the multiplayer mode. The full game release is set for November 10th.
