To achieve this, a substantial program has been set up for the five days of festivities awaiting visitors. Titled “Next Level,” this 2023 edition will feature support from the three manufacturers (PlayStation, Nintendo, and Xbox), as well as numerous publishers (Bandai Namco, PLAION, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Bethesda, Capcom, and Warner Bros. Entertainment) who have signed up for a booth. Each publisher will bring their latest games, whether already released or not, with access to somewhat unique demos available if one is willing to queue for the behind-the-scenes sessions. At the Bandai Namco stand, games inspired by popular anime and manga series will be showcased. These include “NARUTO X BORUTO: Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS,” which features the official French voices from the anime “SAND LAND.” Also on display is the adaptation of Akira Toriyama’s work and “Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash.” Visitors can challenge friends to “TEKKEN 8,” the latest entry in the renowned series.
At the Ubisoft booth: The prestigious Assassin’s Creed franchise returns to Paris Games Week (PGW) with its latest installment, Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Prince of Persia The Lost Crown will be available for play in French prior to its January 18, 2024, release. Additionally, racing game fans can enjoy thrilling sessions of The Crew Motorfest. On Ubisoft’s main stage, attendees are invited to experience the lively dance floor with Just Dance 2024 Edition!
On the PLAION stand, players of all ages will be welcome to enjoy games tailored to various tastes. For the first time, the French public will have the opportunity to play the highly anticipated titles Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth from SEGA. Aspiring singers or budding rockstars can compete in Let’s Sing 2024, which is set for release at the end of the year. Additionally, Persona 5 Tactica, Persona 3 Reload, Sonic Superstars, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, and Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged will also be available to play.
At the Warner Bros. Entertainment stand, visitors will have the opportunity to play the reboot of the cult fighting game series, Mortal Kombat 1. Additionally, participants can compete in the French championship of Mortal Kombat 1.
On the PlayStation area: find Square Enix with for the first time playable in Europe, FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, the much-anticipated new story of the critically acclaimed FINAL FANTASY VII remake.
At the Xbox area, visitors are invited to try Forza Motorsport, The Elder Scrolls Online (Bethesda), and Microsoft Flight Simulator, as well as a variety of other games and experiences that will be unveiled soon.
On the Arc System Works stand, visitors can play Guilty Gear Strive, Under Night In-Birth2, and River City: Rival Showdown. Celebrating French video game culture, the “Made in France” Games Area returns with a 600 m² dedicated space. Over 23 studios and publishers, including Amplitude Studios, DON’T NOD, Focus Entertainment, and Microids, will present more than 30 iconic games from French creation. Among others, players can test Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden (Focus Entertainment x DON’T NOD), expected for February 13, 2024, Jusant (DON’T NOD) available October 31, 2023, Flashback 2 (Microids) available November 16, 2023, Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior (Sand Door Studio), or Under The Waves (Parallel Studio).
The PC sector will be represented by notable companies such as AORUS, the gaming brand from GIGABYTE and a leading provider in PC components and gaming hardware, along with ASUS ROG (Republic Of Gamers).
