When the Resident Evil 4 remake dropped in March, folks were a bit disappointed not to see Ada Wong’s adventure right away. But guess what? Capcom had something special planned for us — they’re rolling out this awesome bonus as paid DLC! And here’s the exciting news: it was just announced during Sony’s State of Play tonight! The extension is called “Separate Ways,” and we don’t have to wait too long to dive in — Ada Wong will be making her debut on September 21st. Not only has she gotten a fresh look, but her gameplay has been totally updated thanks to her new grappling gun. It’s super cool because it lets her swing across gaps, climb up quickly, and even dive into dark corners with ease. Plus, she can use the grappling hook in combat for some up-close action or take down enemies from afar. As for the story? Same thrilling tale, but now we get to experience it through Ada’s eyes as she follows Albert Wesker’s orders to track down a mysterious substance called “The Amber.” Can’t wait to see what happens!
Yay! Mark your calendars because on September 21st, the “Separate Ways” DLC is coming out along with a totally rad free update for The Mercenaries mode. This means you get to dive back into Resident Evil 4 and explore Ada Wong’s story in style. Plus, she’s getting a major makeover with new visuals and a grappling gun that will take your gameplay to the next level as she hunts down “The Amber” at Albert Wesker’s behest. It’s gonna be an epic adventure!
