Gamescom 2023 was a fantastic chance to dive deeper into Sonic Superstars, which was first unveiled at the Summer Game Fest earlier that year. Exciting news! The game is set to launch on October 17th, fitting right in with everything we love about our blue-furred hero. Drawing inspiration from classic Sonic titles, this neo-retro adventure will be presented in stunning 2.5D visuals. SEGA isn’t aiming to shake things up; they’re preserving the nostalgia that fans hold dear. To make sure the fun doesn’t stop at solo play, the game includes a co-op multiplayer mode where each player can step into the shoes of one of four beloved Sonic characters.
