Mortal Kombat 1: Homelander (The Boys), Peacemaker, and Omni-Man (Invincible) Confirmed Playable – Video Proof

Last month’s rumors have come true! Homelander from “The Boys,” Peacemaker featuring John Cena, and Omni-Man from “Invincible” are now official additions to the Mortal Kombat 1 roster, announced at San Diego Comic-Con. These iconic characters perfectly match the gritty, high-stakes world of Mortal Kombat with their penchant for explosive violence. To get your hands on them, though, you’ll need to grab the DLC Kombat Pack after the game launches; it includes six new fighters in total. Alongside Homelander, Peacemaker, and Omni-Man, fans will also be able to play as Quan Chi, Ermac, and Takeda Takahashi. During a lively roundtable at the American showcase with NetherRealm Studios’ creative team, they unveiled an exciting gameplay video that spotlights Li Mei, Tanya, and Baraka—three historical fan favorites. The trailer also introduces the Umgadi, a formidable battalion of warrior priestesses sworn to protect the Outworld’s royal family.

Get ready for Mortal Kombat 1, which is set to hit the shelves on September 19, 2023, exclusively for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S!
