During the recent Nintendo Direct on June 21st, it wasn’t just Mario who showed up; Princess Peach made an appearance too! And guess what? She’s getting her very own game next year! Nintendo officially announced a new video game dedicated to Mario’s sweetheart, though they’re keeping the final title under wraps for now. To help keep track of things and optimize our tech sheet and SEO, we’re tentatively calling it “Super Princess Peach 2024.” This marks the second time Princess Peach has her own adventure, following in the footsteps of Super Princess Peach from way back in 2006 on the Nintendo DS (you can check out our original review here). Unlike that earlier game, where she had a trusty parasol, this time around she’ll be sporting a magical star ribbon that lets her transform into different characters and gain special abilities. The new game also seems to have some connection to Peach’s castle universe, taking things in an exciting new direction from the 2006 title. Nintendo is keeping details under wraps for now, but we’re eagerly awaiting more updates over the coming months!
